Amelie Stein

Amelie Stein carried out her PhD research at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) Barcelona, Spain, where she developed structural bioinformatics programs for interactions between protein domains and peptides. She then spent four years at the University of San Francisco, USA, as a postdoctoral fellow and subsequently moved to the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, where she has been focusing on the consequences of mutations on protein structure and function, particularly in the context of human health and disease.
