AmphiStar is a Ghent based biotech company leading the transition to sustainable surfactants. Founded as a spin-off from UGent and BBEPP, AmphiStar specializes in microbial biosurfactants made from biobased waste- and side streams. With biotope by VIB as first investor, AmphiStar was able to translate their technology platform with ample possibilities into a company developing commercial products to the home- and personal care markets.
