Amos Lee

Amos Lee, PhD, is the Founder and CEO of Meteor Biotech, a precision medicine company spun out of Seoul National University, Korea. He led the invention and development of SLACS (Spatially-resolved Laser Activated Cell Sorting), the world’s first spatial cell sorting technology. Unlike conventional spatial biology platforms that only map tissue, SLACS adds the unique capability to precisely isolate relevant single cells directly from tissue for deeper omics analysis.

His work has been published in high-impact journals including Nature Reviews Cancer and Advanced Science, and SLACS has been recognized as the #1 innovation in The Scientist’s Top 10 Innovations. Under his leadership, Meteor Biotech has established installations in Mayo Clinic, VIB, UCLA, and the University of Michigan, accelerating applications in diagnostics, immunotherapy, and drug discovery.
