Biography
Ania is a molecular biologist by background. She did both her Masters in Cancer Genomics, and PhD in Medical Science, at The Medical University of Gdansk in Poland. Shortly after, in 2010, she moved to Cambridge to join James Brenton’s Lab at The Cancer research Cambridge Institute University of Cambridge. As an Assistant Professor she focused on the identification of genomics biomarkers as translational research in ovarian cancer.
She then has taken on a new adventure within the CI family, taking over the role of Head of Genomics and managing the core facility.
Outside of the Cambridge Institute, she would normally enjoy motorbiking and yoga; but these activities have been disrupted quite a bit, by a much beloved 6-year-old girl, Lara.
