Biography
Anna Kreshuk is a Group Leader at the Cell Biology and Biophysics Unit, EMBL Heidelberg. Her research focuses on automatic segmentation and analysis of microscopy images. In particular, she is interested in large-scale, high-throughput or multi-modal applications, weak and sparse supervision as well as representation learning for biological analysis. Besides, Anna is leading the development of the ilastik software and of the BioImage Model Zoo, aiming to make such methods available to life scientists without computational expertise.
