Biography
Dr Lepetit received his PhD from University of Leipzig, Germany, in the group of Christian Wilhelm. After a 2-years postdoc in La Rochelle, France, in the group of Johann Lavaud, he became a junior group leader at University of Konstanz, Germany, associated with the group of Peter Kroth. Since 2023, he is a Professor at University of Rostock, Germany. His main interest is the regulation of photosynthesis, redox changes in cellular compartments and the signaling chain from the plastid to the nucleus leading to a coordinated gene expression. All this in diatoms and here primarily in his favorite pet Phaeodactylum.
