Bonnie Hammer

Bonnie J. Hammer, Ph.D. is the Vice President of Biologic Development at Invenra, Inc. headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Invenra is focused on discovering and optimizing best in class human monospecific and bispecific antibodies utilizing novel function forward screening techniques that allow for assessment of antibody function early in the discovery process. Dr. Hammer holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon in Biochemistry and has over 15 years’ experience in cell biology, disease modeling, and assay development for drug discovery. In her current role, she focuses on functional assays for therapeutic antibodies with an emphasis on immuno-oncology applications. Prior to joining Invenra, Dr. Hammer held research and development leadership roles in the Discovery Assays and Services business unit of Life Technologies.
