Brian Reed

Dr. Brian Reed is Head of Research at Quantum-Si where he leads the R&D team developing real-time single-molecule protein sequencing technology and applications. He received his BA in Biology at Harvard University and performed his PhD work with Prof. Michael Snyder at Yale University, investigating the genome-wide regulation of transcription factor networks. Before joining Quantum-Si in 2014, Dr. Reed worked at Ion Torrent, where he led a research team responsible for the development of Ion Torrent's core next-generation DNA sequencing technology and launch of the Proton sequencing platform.
