Christian Parisod

Christian Parisod is Assistant Professor of Ecological Genomics at the University of Bern, Switzerland. His research couples plant genome evolution and ecological diversification. He uses natural as well as experimental populations of diploid/polyploid wild wheats and mustards to decipher how duplicated genes interact with transposable elements and the environment to yield adaptive traits. A major goal of his work is to integrate the genomic underpinnings of biological radiation across natural landscapes.
