Christian Stephan

Co-partner and an important scientific counterpart for the further development of Kairos is Dr. Christian Stephan (born 1973). The bio-informatics scientist joined Kairos in 2012, after he had been involved in biomedical research at the department of neurology at the Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf, and then headed the bioinformatics/biostatistics department at the Medical Proteom-Center of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum with research responsibility. Dr. Christian Stephan ideally combines the increasingly merging worlds of biomedical research and practice from bioinformatics. Due to his enormous amount of experience in national and international research and industry projects, Dr. Christian Stephan is able to speak the specialized language of both the researching doctors and the IT-specialists on the customer’s side as well as their industrial partners. This capacity of translation should not be underestimated, since it provides Kairos with a special and personal access, since Dr. Christian Stephan is taken into confidence by both the customers as well as their suppliers. This enables the most authentic and thus effective communication in regard to the product implementation of CentraXX, which is tremendously important during complex initiation and construction phases.
