Diego Rubiales

Professor at the Institute for Sustainable Agriculture, CSIC, at Córdoba, Spain. Research interest in legume breeding and agronomy. Extensive experience in participation and coordination of research both at national and international level, having played major roles on 15 Spanish, 14 EU and 4 international projects dealing with legumes. Has been President of International Legume Society (2012-2016, currently Secretary) and of the European Association of Grain Legumes Research (2008-2013) and member of the Executive Committee of the Int. Parasitic Plant Society (2005-2011). Passionate on Lathyrus having co-authored >20 Lathyrus major (JIF) publications and co-supervised several PhD and registered several cultivars.
