Givanna Putri

Givanna is a postdoctoral researcher at WEHI where she develops and applies machine learning methods for analysing single-cell and cytometry data. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sydney where she developed algorithms for tracking cells development in temporal cytometry data. She has also developed SuperCellCyto and Spectre packages for cytometry data analysis. Her current research focuses on using deep learning to interpret model embeddings, and benchmarking batch correction algorithms for cytometry data. She is passionate about teaching and holds a Data Carpentries instructor certification.
