Biography
Hans Fried is the head of the light microscope facility at the German Center for Neurodegenerative diseases (DZNE) in Bonn. He has a background in neuroscience with great expertise in intravital microscopy, multi-photon microscopy, confocal microscopy, and STED (stimulated emission depletion) microscopy. In the Light Microscope Facility, he operates different high-end microscopes and builds novel microscope setups mostly multiphoton setups used for intravital imaging.
