Jim is Managing Director of Retrogenix, having co-founded the company in 2008. Retrogenix has developed a unique, world-leading Cell Microarray technology for identifying both the receptor targets and off-targets of antibodies, proteins, small molecules and viruses. Based in the Peak District National Park, UK, Retrogenix now has research agreements and collaborations with eight of the top ten global pharmaceutical companies, numerous drug discovery companies, as well as many academic and non-for-profit institutions across the world.
Prior to founding Retrogenix, Jim spent 10+ years in management within the biotechnology (Oxford BioMedica) and pharmaceutical industry (AstraZeneca). He is a biologist by training, and obtained his PhD at Manchester University, UK, in 1997.
