Biography
Katrien Van der Borght obtained her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2009. She completed her PhD in Immunology in 2017 in the lab of Bart Lambrecht (VIB-UGent), where she continued as a postdoctoral researcher for five years. Her research focused on the mouse immune system in the context of heart inflammation and lung allergy. Since May 2023, she has been part of the VIB Flow Core, where she supports researchers in designing and performing high-quality flow cytometry experiments.
