Biography

Dr. Keren completed her B.Sc. in Tel-Aviv University and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in computational biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science with Prof. Eran Segal and Prof. Ron Milo. In 2016 she joined the lab of Dr. Michael Angelo in Stanford University as a Fulbright, EMBO and Damon Runyon fellow to spearhead the development of MIBI-TOF, a platform for multiplexed imaging of tissues. In 2020 she joined the faculty of the Department of Molecular Cell Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Dr. Keren’s research focuses on studying tumor-immune interactions using multiplexed imaging. She develops computational tools that allow to tease various layers of information from rich multiplexed-imaging data and employ them to infer design principles in tumor immunology.
