Biography
Marc Claesen is a co-founder and the CEO of Aspect Analytics NV, a company specialized in spatial multi-omics bioinformatics. Prior to founding Aspect Analytics, Marc did his PhD at KU Leuven, Belgium. During his PhD, Marc's research focus was on fundamental machine learning, particularly learning from incomplete data and automation of the learning process. He is passionate about developing software tools to support scientists and others in complex data analysis tasks, with applications in machine learning, AI and bioinformatics.
