Biography
Mathilde Geysens is a medical doctor, specialising in the field of human genetics at UZ Leuven, Belgium. She is currently doing a PhD in the laboratory of cytogenetics and genome research (KULeuven), where she explores the potential of long-read sequencing to unravel new causes of developmental disorders, with a focus on the detection of structural but also epigenetic variation.
