Maude Liegeois

Maude Liegeois, PharmD, received her PhD in 2020 from the University of Liège in Belgium. Following a postdoctoral fellowship in John Fahy Laboratory at the University of California, San Francisco, she recently joined the GIGA Institute, University of Liège, as a Postdoctoral Researcher supported by the FRS-FNRS. Her research focuses on basic and translational pulmonary immunology, with an emphasis on the cellular and molecular mechanisms driving pathological mucus formation and immune–epithelial interactions. Her goal is to bridge the gap between basic immunology and clinical research in order to promote the development of new therapeutic strategies for chronic respiratory diseases.
