Min Mo
Min Mo is a Senior Staff Field Application Scientist at Stellaromics, where he serves as the lead technical consultant for the Pyxa beta program. Pyxa is a groundbreaking platform designed for high-resolution, 3D volumetric spatial biology at a subcellular scale. In this role, Min provides expert, end-to-end guidance on 3D spatial tissue profiling—from initial experimental design and troubleshooting complex assays to the interpretation of massive volumetric datasets. He acts as a vital link between the field and the lab, translating user feedback and analytical data into actionable insights for the R&D teams to drive platform improvements. Before joiningStellaromics, Min was a Senior Staff FAS at Cellanome, acting as a technical consultant for their single-cell multi-modal platform. There, he utilized bioinformatics pipelines to help customers integrate functional assays with single-cell datasets. His extensive background also includes supporting over 40 premier accounts (including the NIH and Johns Hopkins) at NanoString Technologies, with a specialized focus on morphology-guided analysis and tissue optimization (such as FFPE and FF). Min earned his Ph.D. in Virology from the University of Otago. His career is built on a foundation of rigorous research, including developing high-throughput diagnostic assays at the National Cancer Institute and conducting functional cell biology research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the NIH.
