Biography
Our research group is interested in understanding the role of Transient Receptor Potential channels in the central nervous system. In particular, we are studying the role of TRPC1/C4/C5 in synaptic plasticity. We are also investigating how the composition of the lipid bilayer and the presence of rafts and other lipid domains modulate the recruitment and the activation mechanisms of TRP channels.
