Samuel Sledzieski

Sam is an Incoming Assistant Professor in the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute at UC San Diego and a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Divergence Labs. Previously, he was a postdoc at the Flatiron Institute Center for Computational Biology and Princeton University’s Lewis Sigler Institute. He has developed and released several open-source machine learning models including D-SCRIPT, ConPLex, MINT, and MIMIC, and has held research positions at Microsoft Research, Cellarity, Serinus Biosciences, and the Centre Scientifique de Monaco. He received his PhD and SM in Computer Science from MIT, and his BS in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut. Sam is a recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
