Biography
Prof. S. Piletsky has graduated from Kiev University in 1985, received his PhD in 1991 from Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and DSc from Cranfield University in 2014. Between 1998-2013 he worked in Cranfield University as Head of Cranfield Biotechnology Centre and in 2013 he moved his group to the University of Leicester. The aim of his research, published in more than 310 papers and patent applications, is application of imprinted polymers in diagnostics and healthcare (H=55). For his scientific achievements Sergey received awards such as JSPS, DFG, Leverhulme Fellowships, the award of the President of Ukraine and Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award.
