Biography
During my MSc I studied Bioinformatics with Prof. Paulien Hogeweg and in the group of Prof. Soren Brunak. I obtained my PhD on comparative genomics in eukaryotes with Prof. Martijn Huynen. As a postdoc I started working on systems biology of Mycoplasma pneumoniae and drug and protein interaction networks in the group of Dr. Peer Bork. I started my own group in 2013, where we work on systems biology and evolution with a special interest in post-translational modifications and small peptides.
