Vincent Dutordoir
Vincent Dutordoir is a machine learning researcher whose work bridges the gap between deep learning and probabilistic modeling. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science Engineering from Ghent University in 2017. Following his studies, he joined a Cambridge-based startup to work on Gaussian process modeling and Bayesian optimization. In October 2020, he began his PhD at the University of Cambridge within the Computational and Biological Learning Lab, advised by Professor Zoubin Ghahramani. After a research internship at Google DeepMind, Vincent joined the company full-time in 2024. He is currently a Senior Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, where his work focuses on "decoding the DNA" within the Science initiative.
