Virginie Goubert

After 8 years working in research at the Scripps Research Institute (La Jolla, San Diego) and at Caltech (Pasadena, CA), developing diverse techniques in Flow Cytometry, laser microdissection along with genomics, confocal imaging and multiplex IHC; Virginie came back to France in 2008 to join PerkinElmer (PKI) as a ‘Drug Discovery Specialist’… During several years at PerkinElmer, She was specialist for cutting-edge ‘High Throughput Screening’ technologies – such as multimode plate readers and reagents for cell-based assays. The last years, she joined the ‘Quantitative Pathology Solutions’ (QPS) division where she could further elaborate her expertise in multiplex Immunochemistry and IF in situ, and discovered the exciting world of Immuno-Oncology.

In 2019, the QPS division has spun off from PerkinElmer to merge with a Start-Up called ‘Akoya Biosciences’ which is now “The Spatial Biology Company”. Today, Virginie is Application and Market development leader in Europe at Akoya Biosciences.
