The VIB - KU Leuven Center for Brain & Disease Research, VIB Bio Imaging Core and Nikon are happy to announce the festive inauguration symposium to celebrate the opening of the Nikon Center of Excellence at the VIB Bio Imaging Core at the KU Leuven. The supplier of leading edge imaging equipment, Nikon and the scientific leadership of the VIB Imaging core join forces to cooperate and combine their strengths.

Nikon and the VIB strongly believe that an open exchange between academia and industry is decisive for the rapid advancement of science and the technologies used. Therefore, the Center of Excellence will be the go-to place for showcasing the latest technology and advanced training for researchers and company representatives alike.

The symposium will present cutting edge science and celebrate the advances of imaging in the fields of correlative imaging, structured illumination microscopy, and label-free imaging.

We are welcoming all scientist and imaging enthusiasts at the auditorium of O&N4 at the Gasthuisberg for the symposium and the following reception.

Registration is free of charge.
