On October 13th, VIB will celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary and look back on the scientific achievements that are the origin of its impact. VIB scientists who have been with us since the beginning as well as young and upcoming VIB talent will share their stories. The show will also include an inspiring interview with Nobel Prize winner Jennifer Doudna and a thrilling behind-the-curtains peek at several VIB startup companies. Francesca Vanthielen, Belgian journalist and news anchor, will moderate the evening together with co-host Eva Kamanda.

This will be followed by a forward-looking interview with the general VIB management, chairman of VIB’s board of directors Ajit Shetty, and Flemish Minister of Economy, Innovation, and Agriculture Hilde Crevits.

This celebration is the ideal moment to reconnect with your colleagues during the reception and standing buffet after 18 months of freezing cameras and microphone echoes.

Note that because of the covid-measures the capacity of the venue is limited and seats will be assigned on first-come first-served basis. Joining the event is only possible upon invitation.
