Justas Ritmejeris

Justas Ritmejeris is a PhD candidate in the group of Prof. Cees Dekker at TU Delft, The Netherlands. He holds a BSc and MSc in Biochemistry from Vilnius University, Lithuania, where he also completed a 5-year internship in the Sector of Microtechnologies. During this internship, he developed a strong foundation in droplet-microfluidics methods and applied them to single-cell transcriptomics research.

As a PhD candidate, Justas is focused on utilizing his scientific experience to establish a nanopore-based protein (peptide) sequencing platform. He is actively working on new methods and techniques for accurate and efficient analysis of proteins at the single-molecule level. His goal is to contribute to the field of proteomics through his ongoing research efforts.
