Biography
T. A. studied Medicine in Innsbruck, Austria, performed a PhD in Medicine at the University of Cambridge and returned to Innsbruck for his clinical training. Today he is a Gastroenterologist and Principle Investigator in the Gastroenterology Laboratory at the Department of Medicine. He holds an ERC Starting Grant and national funding for the next 5 years to study the concept of metabolic gut inflammation as a basis for inflammatory bowel diseases.
