Update 18/11/2021: The conference takes place as planned in Ghent. However, we regret to inform you that all social activities (guided tour and dinner) have been cancelled because of the current pandemic situation.

The organizing committee is looking forward to organize the postponed edition of this event on 22 - 23 November 2021 in Ghent, Belgium.

The aim of this conference is to bridge the translational gap in immunopathology, bringing together clinicians, research scientists and industry partners to discuss prominent advances from the bench to the clinic.

Internationally renowned speakers will present their latest findings during 5 plenary sessions:

  • Making the most of your antibodies
  • Lymphocyte Immune regulation
  • Endotyping in search for the perfect responder
  • Bugs and drugs in immunology
  • Covid-19

Poster information
The format for your poster should be: A0 (841 x 1189 mm / 33.1 x 46.8 in), portrait orientation. The best 5 abstracts were given a short talk slot in the plenary program. Abstract submission is closed for TransImmu. Make sure to register for the conference before the early bird deadline to get your abstract recorded in the program booklet.

The 2 best posters will win the Poster prize sponsored by Elsevier's journal "Cellular Immunology" & EMBO Molecular Medicine!

Travel grants
VIB Offers 5 travel grants to international attendees, which will reimburse travel costs up to 400 Euros. Submission is closed, the organizing committee will notify you of your travel grant acceptance.

Attending a VIB Conference safely in times of COVID-19
VIB Conferences will follow the rules set up by the Belgium Government, you can read all the details regarding attending a VIB Conference here.
